Truth Is Truth...Where Ever You Find It

In dwelling, live close to the ground.
In thinking, keep to the simple.
In conflict, be fair and generous.
In governing, don't try to control.
IN work, do what you enjoy.
In family life, be completely present.

From The Tao Te Ching, Chapter 8;
translation by stephen Mitchell

I don't know. What do you think?

Seems like one's whole life could be directed by such wisdom as given here.
I'm not real sure about how to interpret that first line but:

Nature, common sense, civility, authority, not power, find your passion, paying attention to what matters.

Here is another translation of that same verse:

In dwelling, be close to the land.
In meditation, go deep in the heart.
In dealing with others, be gentle and
In speech, be true.
In ruling, be just.
In daily life, be competent.

Either way, seems these are words you could take to heart daily.
